Beautiful images here. I can't tell if the woman (seventh or so from the bottom) is either none too pleased to be photographed, or is just looking very stern and defiant.
The newspaper photos remind me of T.S. Eliot's "Preludes," which I just wrote about on my blog. The first stanza has a simple line that reminds me of the above newspaper photos, albeit with different emotions.
